Ms. Arifa Fathima Younus

Ms. Arifa Fathima, a graduate in Commerce, also holds Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management. Along with B.Ed., her love for children helped her successfully complete Diploma in Nursery Teachers Training, as well as take up a diploma in Teachers Training from the University of Cambridge. Ms. Arifa brings along with her, a rich experience of 17 years in teaching in Kindergarten that spans across curriculums including ICSE, IGCSE and CBSE. She firmly believes in “Nurture children and teach them valuable social skills”, which she passionately follows.

PRIYANKA NAIR

It takes an extraordinary person to become a Montessori Educator. This teaching methodology emphasizes on buoying up the learning abilities of children. Ms. Priyanka is a full-time trained Montessori educator who is also a qualified commerce graduate. She completed her Montessori training from Chennai and pursued her internship from Coppell Montessori School, Texas, USA. With a profound experience of 12 years in this domain, she is a role model in treating all children with respect and understands that rampant curiosity in a child’s superpower.

                                       

Ms. Indu

Ms. Indu is an attentive, energetic and self-driven individual, trained in teaching Hindi. She is an alumnus of three prestigious universities – B.A (Hindi) from the University of Delhi, B.Ed. from Indraprashtha University, New Delhi and M.A. (Hindi) from Jamia Millia Islami University, New Delhi. Out of interest, she also completeHaving 8 years of experience in teaching Hindi in reputed CBSE School in India, Indu worked in St. Lawrence Convent, New Delhi, prior to joining Bhavans Abu Dhabi in 2016. As coordinator (Hindi Wing), Ms. Indu has rich experience in actively managing the cultural activities and helped training students for the Zonal level competitions in Hindi essay, play,   debate, poem recitation and extempore speech.

A graduate in Chemistry with a B.Ed. from Mumbai University, Prabha carries with her over 8 years of teaching experience. VINEETHA VISWANATH

Vineetha Viswanath from Alappuzha, Kerala believes in this verse which helps to transcend the life of young Bhavanites at Bhavans. She is primarily concerned with exploring new areas and relationships of mathematical theories to increase knowledge and understanding in the students and to practically apply these theories in the day to day life of the learner. She has an extensive experience of 11 years in building and expanding knowledge in mathematical areas, such as Algebra or Geometry, by developing new rules, theories, and concepts. Having to her credit is M.Sc, B. Ed. in Mathematics; she has also qualified in CTET.  She is a dedicated teacher with innovative ideas in planning and implementing activities for the holistic growth and well-being of the students .

Ms. Ritaanshi Sanhotra

Ms. Ritaanshi is an enthusiastic, committed educator, with over 11 years of experience in teaching.  Having completed schooling from Oxford Senior Secondary School, Delhi, she pursued graduation in Hindi from the University of Delhi, followed by B.Ed. from Indraprastha University, Delhi in First Division. She documented success in providing activities and materials that engage and develop students intellectually.Ms. Ritaanshi believes in the statement, “To the world you may be just a teacher, but to your students you are a HERO”.

         

Ms.Babita Chhetri

M.A. (English), PGD in (Guidance & Counselling), B.A. (English Hons.) & B Ed

 Babita Chhetri joined PIES (Bhavans) Abu Dhabi in March 2011. She is a post-graduate in English with a PGDGC and BA-B Ed from The Regional College of Education Bhubaneswar, run by (NCERT) Govt of India. She feels such qualification provides a strong base and flair “to be teacher as a nation builder”. She has more than 15 years of teaching experience in the reputed Indian Army Public School (CBSE) in North Bengal & Kolkata. Babita has a rich experience in varied teaching assignments, including handling children from multicultural society. She has worked dedicatedly in APS in various roles such as House Mistress, CCA Coordinator, and Teacher Representative, apart from being the CBSE Board Examination’s Invigilator for Kendriya Vidyalaya. She has also led the Army Public School team at National/regional/cluster meets in India for various activities.

Babita has also undergone English Teaching Enrichment course by Prof Paul Gunaskekar & Dr Meena Srinivas of Central Institute of English and Foreign languages, Hyderabad at (Oxford University Press Kolkata).She has received a certificate of appreciation from Help Age India for motivating students to assist the elderly and for the valuable assistance rendered to Help Age India.

Spending her childhood in the calm and serene environment of Army Cantonment in India has helped in incorporating strong values; discipline, integrity, honesty, mixing and adaptive nature. Ms. Jayabharathi Krishnamurthy

 Ms. Jayabharathi joined the family of Bhavans in 2014. With a Post-Graduation in Mathematics from one of the most prestigious universities in India – University of Madras, she also has B.Ed. to her credit, from Loyola College, Chennai. A true mentor, Ms. Jayabharathi meticulously practices to change the myth ‘Mathematics is difficult’, by her professional and distinctive style of teaching. She ensures reaching out to students of all levels, by skillfully modifying her teaching methodology that attracts students to believe that the subject, though challenging, is definitely approachable and fun to understand. She helps students believe that rich math task is the heartbeat of mathematical-thinking which is the core aspect of learning the subject.A young and dynamic teacher, Ms. Jayabharathi believes that teaching is definitely challenging, whatever the subject be; and to make teaching-learning more interesting, she educates herself with the nuances of the subject and keeps her mind open to learning.

The family of Bhavans Abu Dhabi welcomed Ms. Dhivya.T.S in 2013. She completed B.Sc Computer Science and MCA, both with Distinction. A dedicated teacher, she is proficient in various Programming Languages.Prior to joining Bhavans Abu Dhabi, Dhivya worked as Computer Science Teacher in CBSE schools in India. Her passion for the subject assists her in helping students understand the various sides of the subject and enhance their exposure. She firmly believes that every learner can competently be engaged with the help of very many activities that challenge logical-thinking, reasoning, critical-thinking skills, and technology literacy – some of the core essentials of 21st century learning.

Apart from sports, Dhivya’s interests also lie in dance and music.

Subitha Shaju , a Science Teacher by profession, has been working as a teacher for the past 5 years. She joined Bhavans , Abu Dhabi in the year 2010.A graduate in Biology from Calicut University and a postgraduate diploma holder in Computer Applications, she has innate leadership qualities and sets an example for others to follow through her own personal standard of punctuality, politeness and perfection. She has been able to balance and coordinate her responsibilities as a supervisor, class teacher and Science teacher for over three years now. She believes that “A teacher should be a role model for her students; thus, she should demonstrate respect, honesty, empathy, responsibility, promptness, and a desire for learning.”

She is enthralled by equations, geometry, fractions, and all aspects of mathematics. She sincerely oversees in bestowing her students with arithmetic and problem-solving skills.
