ROOPA PRASAD
BCom, B.Ed

Roopa Prasad, is a Commerce graduate, specialising in English in her Bachelor of Education. She has an exemplary 15 years of experience working in Nursery and Kindergarten. She is organised and embraces change enthusiastically. She looks forward to creating memories with the children and inspire them to dream big. She encourages creativity and includes innovative ideas in her class. She is a teacher who believes in spreading positivity and making a difference in every child’s life.

Ms ARIFA FATHIMA YOUNUS 
B.Com, B.Ed, MHRM

Ms. Arifa Fathima, a graduate in Commerce, also holds master’s degree in Human Resource Management. Along with B.Ed., her love for children helped her successfully complete Diploma in Nursery Teachers Training, as well as take up a diploma in Teachers Training from the University of Cambridge. Ms. Arifa brings along with her a rich experience of 19 years in teaching in kindergarten that spans across curriculums including ICSE, IGCSE and CBSE. She firmly believes in “Nurture children and teach them valuable social skills”, which she passionately follows.

Babita Chhetri joined PIES (Bhavans) Abu Dhabi in March 2011. She is Post graduate M.A (English), PGDGC, BA-B Ed from   Regional College of Education Bhubaneswar, run by (NCERT) Govt of India, Provides strong base and flair “To be teacher as a nation builder”.  She has more than 15 years of teaching experience in reputed Indian Army Public School (CBSE) at North Bengal & Kolkata.  She has rich experience in varied teaching assignment, with handling Children from multicultural society.  Has worked dedicatedly in APS for various roles such as House Mistress, CCA Coordinators, and Teachers Representative etc

  • Lead Army Public School team at National/regional/cluster meets in India for various activities

Ms.Kajal Veen

Ms.Kajal is an enthusiastic and dedicated educator with innate ability to understand and

motivate children. A postgraduate in Political Science, she is Grade 7 Section Supervisor, with over 6 years of experience in education field. She is accustomed to work in a multicultural environment that emphasizes inclusion and has strong academic background in content knowledge.

 

Mr ANEESHMON KR NAIR
M.Ed. (English), B.Ed.

Aneeshmon, a seasoned educator with great insight about his learners, currently serves as the grade 8 Section Supervisor. He has over 16 years of teaching experience including 7 years at PIES and is responsible for the operation of grade 8. In addition to his responsibilities, he teaches English in cycles 2 and 3.

Through his active engagement and commitment, he has introduced various socially responsible outreach programmes which were even commented and documented by the ADEK inspection team.

Mr. Aneesh is an advocate for student’s voice, choice and ownership and believes in equality, diversity, and inclusion. His interpersonal skills are exemplary.

A postgraduate in English with an M.Ed., he has successfully accomplished various assignments in India such as Centre Superintendent for conducting AIPMT, conducted by CBSE.

Ms. Hemlata Gaur
MA, B.Ed.

Hemlata Gaur, a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated teacher, is committed to creating a classroom atmosphere that is stimulating and encouraging to students.

A postgraduate in Hindi and a B.Ed. holder, she had been teaching Hindi for 12 years. Before she joined Bhavans Abu Dhabi in 2019, she was working in Bhavan’s Gandhi Vidhyashram, Kodaikanal in Tamil Nadu. She had been the CCA Coordinator at Bhavans Kodaikanal and had effectively managed various events to enrich the students. During this term, she received the best teacher of the year award, represented the school for National integration camp in Nagpur and also received letters of appreciation from Ms Smriti Zubin Irani, the Union Minister for Human Resource Development.

As a teacher with diverse experience, she has demonstrated the ability to consistently individualize instruction, based on students’ needs and interests. She has an aptitude to remain flexible and has superior interpersonal and communication skills to foster meaningful relationships with students, staff and parents. A warm and caring teacher, she has an innate ability to understand and motivate children and enjoys working with children and encourages creative expression.

Ms SUBITHA SHAJU
B.Sc, B.Ed

Subitha Shaju , a Science Teacher by profession, has been working as a teacher for the past 5 years. She joined Bhavans , Abu Dhabi in the year 2010.A graduate in Biology from Calicut University and a postgraduate diploma holder in Computer Applications, she has innate leadership qualities and sets an example for others to follow through her own personal standard of punctuality, politeness and perfection. She has been able to balance and coordinate her responsibilities as a supervisor, class teacher and Science teacher for over three years now. She believes that “A teacher should be a role model for her students; thus, she should demonstrate respect, honesty, empathy, responsibility, promptness, and a desire for learning.”

Ms BLESSY JOHN
M.Sc (Maths), M.Phil (Maths), B.Ed

With an experience of over 11 years at KV Gujarat, Indian Islahi School AD, Abu Dhabi University and at PIES for the last eight years,  Blessy is an exceptionally acknowledged mathematics teacher.  Being a diligent teacher and result oriented teacher, she has been able to create an indelible impression in all students who have crossed her path. She is enthralled by equations, geometry, fractions, and all aspects of mathematics. She sincerely oversees in bestowing her students with arithmetic and problem-solving skills.
