Ms. Arifa Fathima, a graduate in Commerce, also holds master’s degree in Human Resource Management. Along with B.Ed., her love for children helped her successfully complete Diploma in Nursery Teachers Training, as well as take up a diploma in Teachers Training from the University of Cambridge. Ms. Arifa brings along with her a rich experience of 19 years in teaching in kindergarten that spans across curriculums including ICSE, IGCSE and CBSE. She firmly believes in “Nurture children and teach them valuable social skills”, which she passionately follows.

A dedicated professional with a Master’s in Computer Applications (MCA) and a Bachelor’s in Computer Applications (BCA), both achieved with outstanding academic distinctions. She began her career as a Software Engineer, working for over 2 years in India, before transitioning into education. With more than 6 years of experience teaching Computer Science and 1 year teaching Mathematics at the Private International English School, she has also excelled as a Section Supervisor for the past 3 years. Her recent attainment of a Certified Teacher’s License from the Ministry of Education, UAE, further demonstrates her commitment to the field of education. Known for her strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment, she is a passionate educator dedicated to student growth and curriculum excellence.

Babita Chhetri joined PIES (Bhavans) Abu Dhabi in March 2011. She is Post graduate M.A (English), PGDGC, BA-B Ed from   Regional College of Education Bhubaneswar, run by (NCERT) Govt of India, Provides strong base and flair “To be teacher as a nation builder”.  She has more than 15 years of teaching experience in reputed Indian Army Public School (CBSE) at North Bengal & Kolkata.  She has rich experience in varied teaching assignment, with handling Children from multicultural society.  Has worked dedicatedly in APS for various roles such as House Mistress, CCA Coordinators, and Teachers Representative etc

Ms. Hazeena has been a dedicated member of Bhavans Abu Dhabi since 2014, bringing with her over 15 years of diverse teaching experience across the Middle East and India. A passionate educator with expertise in Computer Science and its applications, she strives to instill a love for the subject in her students while equipping them with essential 21st-century technological skills.

She is committed to fostering logical reasoning and programming abilities, ensuring that every student flourishes academically and technologically. Ms. Hazeena has played a pivotal role in organizing and conducting various events for the Computer Science Department, emphasizing the importance of student participation and engagement.

Mr. Moinuddin Hashmi
M.A, B.Ed in Hindi

(Grade 6 – Section Supervisor)

Mr. Moinuddin Hashmi is a teacher of Hindi and has been serving as the section supervisor of Grade 6 since 2022.  He has over 9 years of teaching experience. He holds a Master of Arts in Hindi from Subharti University and a Master of Arts in English from Aligarh Muslim University. Additionally, he earned a Bachelor of Education in Hindi from Aligarh Teachers Training College and a Bachelor of Arts in Hindi (Honors) from Aligarh Muslim University. His professional journey includes significant roles such as Hindi Teacher and Coordinator of the Hindi Department at Yara International School in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Prior to that, he taught Hindi at Al-Barkaat Public School and St. H.I. Public Jr. High School in Aligarh, India. With a strong educational foundation and a wealth of experience in teaching and departmental leadership, Moinuddin Hashmi is dedicated to fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment that promotes both academic and personal growth for his students.

Ms. DHIVYA T. SREEDHARAN

Ms. Dhivya T. Sreedharan joined the Bhavans Abu Dhabi family in 2013. She holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and an MCA, both with distinction. A dedicated and passionate educator, Ms. Dhivya is skilled in various programming languages.

Before joining Bhavans Abu Dhabi, she served as a Computer Science teacher in CBSE schools in India. Her enthusiasm for the subject enables her to help students explore and understand its diverse aspects, while enhancing their exposure to technology. She strongly believes in engaging every learner through activities that challenge logical thinking, reasoning, critical thinking, and technology literacy—key skills for 21st-century learning.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Ms. Dhivya enjoys sports, dance, and music.

Mr. ANEESHMON KR NAIR

Aneeshmon, a seasoned educator with great insight about his learners, currently serves as the grade 8 Section Supervisor. He has over 16 years of teaching experience including 7 years at PIES and is responsible for the operation of grade 8. In addition to his responsibilities, he teaches English in cycles 2 and 3.

Through his active engagement and commitment, he has introduced various socially responsible outreach programmes which were even commented and documented by the ADEK inspection team.

Mr. Aneesh is an advocate for student’s voice, choice and ownership and believes in equality, diversity, and inclusion. His interpersonal skills are exemplary.

A postgraduate in English with an M.Ed., he has successfully accomplished various assignments in India such as Centre Superintendent for conducting AIPMT, conducted by CBSE.

Ms. SUBITHA SHAJU

Subitha Shaju , a Science Teacher by profession, has been working as a teacher for the past 5 years. She joined Bhavans , Abu Dhabi in the year 2010.A graduate in Biology from Calicut University and a postgraduate diploma holder in Computer Applications, she has innate leadership qualities and sets an example for others to follow through her own personal standard of punctuality, politeness and perfection. She has been able to balance and coordinate her responsibilities as a supervisor, class teacher and Science teacher for over three years now. She believes that “A teacher should be a role model for her students; thus, she should demonstrate respect, honesty, empathy, responsibility, promptness, and a desire for learning.”

With an experience of over 11 years at KV Gujarat, Indian Islahi School AD, Abu Dhabi University and at PIES for the last eight years,  Blessy is an exceptionally acknowledged mathematics teacher.  Being a diligent teacher and result oriented teacher, she has been able to create an indelible impression in all students who have crossed her path. She is enthralled by equations, geometry, fractions, and all aspects of mathematics. She sincerely oversees in bestowing her students with arithmetic and problem-solving skills.
